Welcome To Wheatbelt Kids

Welcome

Wheatbelt Kids was started in July 2016 as I felt there was a need to have information in one place for residents and visitors to the region.

Wheatbelt Kids is my personal community project in between work and family life.

Currently Northam, York, Toodyay, Bakers Hill, and Wundowie are up and running on the website, but will be adding Narrogin, Dowerin, Merredin, Moora and Wongan Hills in the next few months.

Working to bring the community together, Wheatbelt Kids is a personal initiative devoted to fostering family-oriented and kid friendly activities.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to reach new potential clients or families, please don’t hesitate to submit posters and event details – all which will be featured across our ever expanding channel of information!

Thanks

About Me - Jodie Lowen

For the past 17 years, I have been privileged to make an impact on students in the Wheatbelt as an Education Assistant. My commitment stands strong with my passion for learning and helping others build towards achieving their goals; no matter how big or small they may seem, it’s always a fulfilling experience when you see results from your dedication!

Most weekends we spend traveling on family adventures, sparking my creative blog writing skills and rocking out in my marketing role.

The Wheatbelt Community

When my daughter Maddison was born, I struggled to find places and events around the Wheatbelt specifically for parents. This sparked the idea of creating a community focused website called “Wheatbelt Kids” to promote places, events and sporting associations across the Wheatbelt.

In 2019, I helped the Northam Toy Library with their marketing and photography of their items for their system.

In 2019, I was featured as a “Humans of the Wheatbelt” in the disability project celebrating inclusion in the community.

I’m very passionate about helping the community around the Wheatbelt.

What The Future Holds

My plan for the future is to grow my marketing knowledge and to become an awesome online marketer.

I plan on expanding my articles on my Wheatbelt Kids blog, with a focus on my family outings across the Wheatbelt, activities for kids and further resources for parents.
