APEX Park is located on the corner of Newcastle Road and Broome Terrace.
The playground is for all ages with four slides and lots of climbing areas. APEX Park also has a set of swings and lots of open space to picnic or kick a ball, it is also fenced for safety.
There is a barbeque and picnic table in the park. Toilet facilities are availble.
Bernard Park is located on the Avon River bank along Minson Ave.
The park has two separate playgrounds including a fully fenced toddler area with train, slide and baby swings. The older children have a fully fenced playground with bigger swings, lots of slides, imagination and climbing areas.
Bernard Park is close by to shops and next to the Riversedge Cafe. There are plenty of picnic tables and barbeques within the park. Toilet facilities are near the carpark.
Bernard Park also has a water park area.
The Northam Sound Shell is also located in Bernard Park which hosts Concerts in the Park in the warmer weather.
Bert Hawke Park is located at Bert Hawke Oval on Suburban Road.
The park has a slide, climbing areas and a flying fox for kids to play on.

Dr Dunlop Park in located on Springfield Road Northam.
The park consists of a castle playground and swings with shade, sandpit and picnic table.

George Nuich Park is located at 34 Wood Drive Northam.
The park has plenty of parking with disability access.
Large gazebo with seating, rope climbing tower, sandpit, swing and paths for scooters and bikes.
May Street Park is located on the corner of Chidlow street and May street.
A small park suitable for smaller children with swings, slide and rocking animals.

Morrell Park is located on Morrell street across from the Dukes Inn.
A nice park for a family picnic with big shady trees and seating. The playground includes swing, slide and climbing areas.

The Northam Youth Precinct is located on the corner of Chidlow Street and Peel Terrace (opposite McDonalds).
The Precinct boasts areas for all skateboarding abilities and ages. The park is family friendly with grassed areas, undercover seating, BBQ, water fountains, basketball court, ping pong table, parkour and flying fox.
